Sandworld was an annual exibition in Travemünde, Germany between the years 2002-2007. Each year, a new subject is covered and the theme for 2007 was “Travelling Through Time”. All exibitions were grouped together according to specific topics such as: Greek Mythology, The World of Literature, Famous Paintings, Famous Buildings, Historical Events, Transportation, Evolution, Fashion, Music, etc...

Lighthouse in Büsum, Germany
Büsum is a small charming town on the North Sea of Germany and is a popular tourist attraction due to its unique location. When the tide is low, visitors can enjoy taking strolls on the wadden sea area which unique to this planet and under environmental protection. To get to the sea area, a small visitor tax is charged during the day. Also long walks along the coastline can be quite relaxing and serene.
Otherwise, the beaches are not of sand, but instead are grassy areas. “Strandkörbe” (the basket chair seats) can be rented to sit in to protect one from the strong winds often associated with this area. The lighthouse and the fisher boats at the wharf give the town a quaint maritime flair as well.
