When driving from Fresno, Californa to Las Vegas, you can see the incredible Death Valley by following Highway 190. The highway is a serpetine taking you through the canyon like landscape. During the summer it is extremely hot and barron. Make sure you have plenty of water when travelling through this region.

Death Valley is so dry and water is scarce. It is hard to believe that any animals or plants can exist in this terrain. The green landscape in the picture above is proof that life exists, even here.
