Palma is the capitol city of Mallorca and home of the “La Seu”, the famous cathedral dominating the skyline of the city. Pictures and information about Palma can be seen here.
The fisher town of Cala Figuera
Inside the town walls of Alcudia and visiting the harbour or Port d’ Alcudia
The town of Porto Colum
The town of Soller - the central town district is charming and you can also take the nostalgic train to the harbour.
The monestary of Santuari de Cura - this monestary is up high on a mountain. From here you have a good obversation point to see the island in all directions and also a chance to take a moment to meditate. The only noise you hear at this point is distant cow bells in the landscape below.
Torrent de Pareis - a gorgeous hidden area within mountains. You must first walk through a dark tunnel to reach the area. Once inside you will discover an awesome landscape.
Valledemossa - Charming town along the west coast of the island.
Cap Formentor - the most northern tip of the island. Gorgeous landscape. To get there you must really travel a narrow snakelike road to reach it. Oncoming busses from the opposite direction will make you realize how narrow the road is.
Peguera is in the south western corner of the island of Mallorca. It is a popular destination for tourists during the day because of its many beaches and the gorgeous landscape around the area. At night it is worth strolling the main street through the city and shopping, eating and enjoying the night life at the clubs.
