First you need to go to the visitor center and decide which tour you wish to take. One tour, for example lasts about an hour and takes you to the main cave area. There is a witty tour ranger who adds a lot of humor to the trip. First he explains the rules of the caves, such as “not to look at the rocks” and then all get on a bus to go to the entrance.
The entrance is so unnoticable. Anyone just walking by would not expect it to be the entrance to the cave world below.
Pictures were made of all of the tourists and will be again briefed about the tour.
The temperature in the caves is comfortably cool and a bit damp. As you enter the world of stalagmites (the columns hanging from the ceiling) and stalactites (the colums rising from the ground), it was just amazing how deep and far these caves really are.
