Ponta da Piedade, Portugal
This area of the Algarve Coast is close to the city of Lagos. Once you find a free parking spot nearby, you continue along a wooden ramp that takes you along the top rim of this area which offers breathtaking views to hidden grottos and beaches below.
The lighthouse in this picture is the beginning point. On the right side there is a wooden ramp that you can follow. As we were there, the ramp was still in construction. It seems like it is an easy accessable way for those in wheelchairs to be able to enjoy the area as well.

No matter where you look, the view will be amazing.
Below in this image is beach and boats and kayaks were pulling up to it.
The hidden beaches looked so inviting. When the tide is high, some of the beaches will be under water.
There are several boat tours being offered so that the hidden coves and grottos can be seen from the water. The water itself is crystal clear.
Depending on the time of the day and whether it is full tide or ebb tide, you may see pools of water below.
Again from above you continue walking along the rim and enjoy the sights. You can leave the ramp at anytime to get a closer look to the rim and what is below.
Boats frequent the waters the whole time.
Below is another beach awaiting to be visited. Some of the beaches can be accessed from above and other can only be reached by boat or kayak.
When you turn around and head towards the light house again, you can also go to the left side of it for even more views. There was a map showing the interesting points of the area.
