Rock City
Already along the interstates in Tennessee and Georgia, there are painted red wooden barns with the slogan “See Rock City” on them. Rock City is located near Chattanooga and is a natural attraction on Lookout Mountain.

After paying the entrance fee, we entered this park and followed the trails which took us through different rock formations.
 |
There were a lot of rock formations with humorous names such as “Cave of the Winds”, Needle’s Eye, “Fat Man Squeeze, etc...
|

|
We continued walking until we reached the overhang of “Lover’s Leap”. The view overlooking the valley below is breathtaking.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Supposingly on a clear day, 7 states can be seen from this point: Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia. This area of the park also has a gift shop and food and drinks.

For the kids there is a fairy tale area within the park with different scenes in florescent colors.
