Praia da Coelha (Rabbit Beach) in Portugal
This beach is surrounded by cliffs and rock formations and is a lovely way to spend an afternoon on the Algarve Coast. The beach is just a few minutes drive from Albufeira and the entire area has cliffs with pathways looking down over this beach and other beaches, as well.

We walked to the beach along the cliffs from Praia do Castelo This was the view that we did not want to miss. It was not easy to approach the beach from the cliffs at first but we did manage to find a path leading to it. One could also simply drive to this beach.
TOnce at the beach, there are many lovely areas to explore.
The beach is large and when the tide is low, you can walk from one beach to the next.
Here the tide was low so it was fun exploring the other rock formations around the beach.
This rock formation was easy to walk around when the tide got low.
The seashells are of a thicker quality. Not only are they large, but also weigh quite a bit. They are very durable for those wanting to collect some.
When the water receded, there were a couple of caves that could be entered by foot.
This cave had a hole in the ceiling letting light through.
It was interesting how the spiraling design looked.
